Cencora gaat de commerciële lancering van Neurotech's ingekapselde celtherapie in de Verenigde Staten ondersteunen
Cencora, een wereldwijde organisatie voor farmaceutische oplossingen, is door Neurotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. geselecteerd om geïntegreerde distributie- en commercialiseringsdiensten te leveren ter ondersteuning van de lancering van de celtherapie van Neurotech in de Verenigde Staten.
De Amerikaanse Food and Drug Administration (FDA) heeft onlangs de therapie goedgekeurd voor de behandeling van volwassenen met idiopathische maculaire teleangiëctasie type 2 (MacTel).

Naast de ingekapselde celtherapie van Neurotech, schat de Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM) dat de FDA in 2025 nog eens 7 tot 14 CGT-goedkeuringen zou kunnen afgeven.
