Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month

March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, inflammatory, and neurodegenerative disorder of the central nervous system affecting 2.9 million people worldwide.

According to the latest edition of the Atlas of MS, there are more than 900,000 people living with MS in the United States (US), with 24,924 new people diagnosed each year.1  While up to 10% of patients experience initial clinical disease manifestation before the age of 18 years,2 recent epidemiological evidence indicates an increasing incidence of the disease after the age of 50 years.3

Did you know?

Enhance your knowledge with ICER Reports

The Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER) provides independent assessments of the clinical effectiveness and economic value of healthcare interventions, including drugs and medical technologies. Their evidence reports include cost-effectiveness analyses, potential budget impact, and other perspectives that capture insights surrounding product value. The most recently posted ICER reports can be found on the FormularyDecisions Homepage, and you can view the full list here.

MyInsights Program Survey Opportunities Available

Product surveys are an important way to share your insights with biopharma companies. Not only does your feedback communicate specific content requests to biopharma companies (eg, comparative effectiveness analysis, real-world evidence) so that they are more likely to post helpful files to FormularyDecisions, but it also helps biopharma companies identify potential evidence gaps that can be filled over time.

Log into FormularyDecisions to view all survey and feedback opportunities available. Earn points for completing surveys that can be redeemed in the form of gift cards and/or donated to a charity.

Below are links to the Product Pages for surveys that are at the top of the list of all available surveys when you sort by “Most Recent” on FormularyDecisions.
