Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month

April is Parkinson’s disease awareness month, and you can use FormularyDecisions to connect you to resources to help better understand the disease state and treatment landscape.

Parkinson's disease is the second most common age-related neurodegenerative condition diagnosed in North America and is commonly found in middle-aged and older adults.1,2 The diagnosis of Parkinson's disease occurs in nearly 90,000 individuals per year for those aged 65 and older.2 The disease is primarily identified by motor-related symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, and slowed movement, which significantly impact quality of life.3 Currently, there is no cure for Parkinson’s disease, but advancements in disease management are helping to improve patient outcomes through early diagnosis and innovative therapies.

Reconnecting after AMCP Annual 2025

We enjoyed connecting with you at AMCP Annual last week! Thank you to all who stopped by the Cencora booth at the expo hall, connected with us at the FormularyDecisions kiosk, and attended our networking event, “Houston! We Have a Solution.”

During the event, we highlighted some of the newest additions to FormularyDecisions, including our transition to Zoom webinars, the visibility of approved vs unapproved eDossiers, and using the “follow” feature to stay up-to-date on the latest product information.

If you were unable to join us in person and would like to learn more about the different resources available to you on FormularyDecisions, we invite you to schedule a demo with one of our clinical pharmacists.
